In 2008 Dean Gruner was named president and CEO of ThedaCare where he previously served as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice-President of ThedaCare Physicians.  Dean is past co-chair of the Appleton East High School Patriot Athletics Club, and is a volunteer physician at the Fox Cities Community Health Center.

Dean served on the United Way Fox Cities Board of Directors from 2001 through 2006, and served as chair in 2006.  Since 2005 Dean has served on the United Way Fox Cities Community Impact Council.  This is Dean's second year as Campaign Co-Chair.

Daniel Neufelder joined Affinity Health System in 2006 as its president and chief executive officer. Prior to joining Affinity, he served for 12 years as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Ind. 

 

Dan currently serves on the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the UW Oshkosh Chancellor's Council of Advisors.

 

United Way Fox Cities is excited and fortunate to have Dean and Dan lead the campaign for 2010.  Dean and Dan know how vital United Way is to the community, the programs we support and most importantly to the people we help.   They know how to LIVE UNITED! 

 

The annual campaign funds over 100 programs and serves over 100,000 people in our community.  With their leadership, United Way Fox Cities will continue to help individuals and families build quality, sustainable lives in the Fox Valley area.
