FOCUSED FUNDING

Mission: United Way Fox Cities improves lives by bringing diverse people together to build a stronger, more caring community for everyone.

 

To fulfill its mission, United Way Fox Cities has adopted a strategic direction called Community Impact.  In collaboration with others, United Way works to advance the common good by focusing on the building blocks of a good life: education, income and health.

 

To better direct our investments in programs and projects, volunteers from our four Impact Areas have studied community issues and developed priorities related to education, income and health.  The priorities are one of the tools used by volunteers to review funding proposals and make investment decisions.

 

Focused Funding Grants are designed to promote innovative approaches to solving a community problem as well as to support existing program expansion and address unplanned agency needs. 

 

Focused Funding provides United Way with needed flexibility and the opportunity to be proactive in addressing critical issues and their underlying causes.
