Spirit of Giving

United Way Youth Board members get in the holiday spirit by volunteering.

The holiday season in the Fox Cities has come alive with concerts, parades, and lighted trees. This can be a magical time, filled with warm wishes and community fellowship.

The spirit of giving is in the air - there are clothing drives, adopt-a-family programs, Red Kettle campaigns, and countless opportunities for us to share our blessings.

For some, the spirit of giving may be doing a thoughtful act for an elderly neighbor. For some, it will be volunteering precious time and talent. And for still others, it may take the form of philanthropy.

'Tis the season to give. It takes all of us giving together to create a more caring community. So, volunteer for your favorite nonprofit, support your favorite charity and then treat yourself to one of the many community supported arts events that we are blessed with in the Fox Cities.

Whatever form of giving inspires you - and the choices are endless - know that the impact of your generosity will be felt throughout our community.

Wishing you a Happy Holiday!
