Join the Weight of the Fox Valley on July 15th for a Community Health Connections Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.

Wednesday, July 15th at the Weight of the Fox Valley* Community
Health Connections breakfast event to find out. While you
enjoy a healthy breakfast at Bridgewood Conference Center at
7:30 a.m., staff and volunteers from the Weight of the Fox Valley
will provide you with updates and local success stories. Come
listen to a real life story from Matt Jameson, President of Jay
Manufacturing (Oshkosh), as he describes the changes he made to
improve his health.
Following the updates, at 8:30 a.m., Meghan M. JaKa, from the University of Minnesota School Of Public Health will address the audience and share how Minnesota has been successful in their obesity prevention efforts. Ms. JaKa is a PhD candidate and Program Manager at Health Partners Institute for Education and Research in Minnesota and has done extensive work in the field of obesity prevention.
Following her presentation, the Active Communities and Worksite Action Teams will meet from 9:15 to 11:00 a.m. The meetings are open to current Action Team members and anyone who is interested in joining one of these teams.
