2020 Campaign Awards & Recognition
Each year, we recognize individuals and teams who show outstanding leadership in their company's United Way campaign in the categories of small employer (under 150 employees), medium employer (151-499 employees), and large employer (500 or more employees).
Amcor increased the total dollar amount raised by over 26%, driven by a 220% increase in dollars donated by leadership givers, those giving $1,000 or more! Congratulations to CEO Fred Stephan, Campaign Co-Chairs Carol Bredesen and Kim Wetzel, and everyone at Amcor Flexibles for your incredible performance!
Miron Constructions Co., Inc.
Miron increased their total giving by 11% to more than $428,000, making them the 4th Most Generous Workplace in our 2020 Campaign. Congratulations to President and CEO Dave Voss, United Way Champion Jen Bauer, and everyone at Miron Construction Company for your passion for LIVING UNITED.
BLC Community Bank
BLC increased overall giving by over 75% for a total of more than $17,300, and employee giving increased by 24%. Congratulations to CEO Stephan Tramp, United Way Champion Jill Skarda, and everyone at BLC Community Bank!
Kimberly-Clark, our largest community supporter, has had years of fantastic achievements and wanted to inspire other companies to share in that success. In 2003, Kimberly-Clark created two traveling awards that recognize other companies conducting outstanding campaigns. These awards recognize companies for greatest increase of employee participation and greatest increase of employee giving.
The Kimberly-Clark Employee Participation Award
The participation Award is based on an increase in participation for companies with a minimum of 100 employees and 25% employee participation in the past year's campaign.
The Boldt Company
The Boldt Company increased their giving participation to 83%, up from 68%. President and COO Dave Kievet provided incentive for his team by offering to shave his head if they exceeded 75% participation. Dave can now attest that Wisconsin winters are cold when you’re bald! The Kimberly-Clark Employee Giving Award
The Giving Award is based on the percentage incrase in employee giving with a minimum of $20,000 raised the previous year.
Amcor’s employee giving was up more than 24%. Amcor employees pledged more than $81,000 dollars. Congratulations to CEO Fred Stephan, Co-chairs Carol Bredesen and Kim Wetzel, and everyone at Amcor Flexibles.
United Way Fox Cities also recognizes the company with the largest increase in Leadership Giving and Emerging Leaders giving.

Menasha Corporation has a large number of Emerging Leaders within the company that have been active for years! Community First Credit Union
Community First Credit Union increased their leadership givers by nearly 27%. Together, they pledged more than $61,000! Congratulations to CEO Cathie Tierney, Champion Laurie Butz and team, every one of the leadership givers, and all the donors at Community First Credit Union!

Menasha Corporation employees are passionate about giving back. In the last four years, they had a 53% increase in employee giving and nearly doubled their total dollars raised. Jim Kotek is a former Campaign Co-Chair and Board Chair for United Way, Mike Riegsecker serves on the United Way Board, and several employees serve on United Way committees. Menasha Corporation has been in the Top 5 of Most Generous Workplaces for the past five years.
