Awards
Each year, we recognize individuals and teams who show outstanding leadership in their company's United Way campaign in the categories of small employer (under 150 employees), medium employer (151-499 employees), and large employer (500 or more employees).
Small Employer
Mosaic Family Health
Mosaic Family Health had 85% employee participation; that’s more than a 20% increase in their employee giving. Not only did they run an incredible campaign, they are in United Way Fox Cities’ family of partners, helping to serve those in need in our community. Congratulations to Executive Director Dr. Lee Vogel, Bethany Vande Kolk, Sue Golden, and team!
Medium Employer
GLK Foods
GLK Foods exceeded their own personal record, nearly doubling their overall giving. They also continued to successfully increase employee participation over the past several years. Large Employer
Miller Electric Mfg. LLC
Miller Electric reached an incredible milestone during this year’s campaign: 1-million-dollars! What a remarkable accomplishment. Excellence in Partnership Award
The Excellence in Partnership Awardis a special award that is given to companies that have a strong partnership with United Way. These companies go the extra mile in their campaign to find new ways to grow their connection to United Way Fox Cities’ work.
Miller Electric Mfg. LLC
Miller Electric’s partnership included sponsorship of United Way Fox Cities’ newest donor network called LINC. When United Way wanted to further engage individuals age 30 and under in meaningful opportunities to better our community, Miller Electric saw the value in this network. They recognized that LINC benefits their employees, the United Way, and our community. Miller Electric partnered with us to make this newest network a reality. Sustained Excellence Award
The Sustained Excellence Award honors the company that demonstrates outstanding commitment to United Way Fox Cities year after year.
Miron Construction
Miron continues to shine as one of our Top 15 Most Generous Workplaces, recently coming in at 5th most generous workplace. Miron employees show incredible participation and engagement year-round. United Way is truly part of Miron’s culture, which has led to an incredible impact on improving lives in our community. Beyond their campaign support, Miron Construction has made many of our events possible through sponsorship, giving us the platform to share our work with the community.
Leadership Giving Award
Leadership Giving begins at $1,000. The Leadership Giving Award is given to recognize a significant increase in Leadership Giving within a workplace campaign.
TIDI Products
TIDI Products has more than 50 Leadership Givers that gave just under $100,000 total! Congratulations to Kevin McNamara, Margie Harvey, and the whole TIDI team!
Emerging Leaders Giving Award
Emerging Leaders are people age 40 or under, who support United Way with a gift of $500 or more. The Emerging Leaders Award is given to recognize outstanding growth in Emerging Leaders within a workplace campaign.
Community First Credit Union AND Menasha Corporation
Community First Credit Union increased their Emerging Leader giving by more than 41%! Congratulations to the entire committee, including co-chair Tim Hoff and to their internal Emerging Leader chairs Jen Busch, John Ryan and Abby Hull, who is their LINC chair.
Menasha Corporation now has just under 70 Emerging Leaders that gave almost $50,000 this year! They have a very robust internal program that provides opportunities for all of their Emerging Leaders to participate throughout the year. Congratulations to Jim Kotek, Mike Riegsecker, and everyone at Menasha Corporation.
The Kimberly-Clark Corporate Giving Challenge–Participation Award
The Kimberly-Clark Corporate Challenge–Participation Award recognizes a workplace with a minimum of 100 employees and 25% or more participation. It honors the organization with the greatest increase in the percent of employees who made a gift compared to the previous year.
Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center
76% of Bridgewood employees participated in their United Way campaign! More than doubling the amount of people who gave the previous year. Congratulations to Rich Batley, Ryan Batley, James Belmore, Jaclyn Batley, and team.
The Kimberly-Clark Corporate Giving Challenge–Giving Award
The Kimberly-Clark Corporate Challenge–Giving Award recognizes a workplace with the greatest percentage increase in employee dollars raised, with a minimum of $20,000 in employee gifts.
YMCA of the Fox Cities
We are very proud to give this award to one of our annually-funded partners. Employee giving at the YMCA increased more than 50%, totaling more than $30,000! Congratulations to Bill Breider, Jan Davey, Kirk Fishel, and team!
