From your friends at United Way Fox Cities
United Way Fox Cities was honored to receive the "2018 Cherish the Child Award" from Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin. During the award presentation at their Green & Gold Gala, Family Services explained why they picked us:
"When the community sees a problem, United Way Fox Cities leads the way in bringing the right people to the table to respond as a community rather than as individuals. They are leaders, partners, collaborators, and connectors who are deeply committed to making our communities healthier, better places to live.
"United Way Fox Cities is a strong proponent and funder of new initiatives to help children and families. It supports home visitation programs that offer intensive support and guidance to new parents. It also started United Way's PATH for Students initiative (Providing Access to Healing) to bring licensed therapists into schools to ensure that more children are able to access mental health services.
“Family Services couldn't be more grateful for the support that United Way Fox Cities provides for children and families through our programs and other United Way partner agencies."
We are very grateful for the recognition of our work to improve the lives of children. This work would not be possible without the support of the community and our many partners who provide outstanding programs—thank you!
