Kimberly-Clark is stepping up to the plate with their generosity at a time when COVID-19 continues to cause stress and uncertainty both locally and globally. The company’s Cottonelle brand is asking Americans to #ShareASquare and has committed $1million to United Way Worldwide COVID-19 relief efforts.

“We’ve been watching the conversation around toilet paper unfold in real-time, and while our teams are working day and night to produce and ship product to retailers, we want to invite consumers to #ShareASquare to help others in need,” said Arist Mastorides, Family Care President of Kimberly-Clark North America. “Instead of stockpiling, let’s stock up on generosity. We believe our consumers have no shortage of kindness, so we trust they will #ShareASquare and help us on this mission.” In addition, consumers who tag instances of toilet paper sharing with #ShareASquare will unlock an additional $1 donation, up to $100,000, through June 1. Cottonelle consumers’ kindness will help set an example for others and help United Way continue to support the growing needs of communities across the country.

The Fox Cities has long benefitted from the generosity of Kimberly-Clark. They hold United Way Fox Cities’ top spot in Most Generous Workplaces because of their annual Community Campaign. Kimberly-Clark and their employees pledged $5.9 million to United Way programs across the country, while pledging $2.2 million right here in the Fox Cities. Kimberly-Clark was also the first company to support the COVID-19 Community Response Fund, a partnership of United Way Fox Cities and the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, with a leadership gift of $50,000.

Thank you to Cottonelle and Kimberly-Clark for their amazing generosity, especially now when it is needed most. To find out more about the donation, visit CottonelleKimberly-Clark or United Way.
