Please do your part to ensure that every person in the Fox Valley is counted!

Why does the Census matter? Most importantly, it determines how about $675 billion dollars in federal funds and grants gets allocated in the U.S. throughout states, counties, and local communities, like the Fox Cities. Right now, it is more important than ever; the Census data is being used to calculate the amount of COVID-19 federal response dollars coming to the State of Wisconsin and its citizens.

Businesses use the data to determine where to build offices and factories. Local governments use the data to prepare for disasters and focus on public safety. Residents use the data to support community initiatives. By taking part in the Census, we can ensure that the Fox Cities has strong infrastructure, health care, and food assistance. We can shape the future of our community.

The U.S. Census self-response rate as of 3/30/2020 was 36.2%. The Wisconsin
self-response rate was 44.3%, which was the best response rate in the U.S at the time. Let’s keep up the great work!

Responding is quick, easy, and confidential. Be counted! You can complete the Census by mail, phone or online. To respond today or for more information, go to www.2020CENSUS.GOV.
